  • "The Eastport Pram, with more than 800 built, is one of the most popular small dinghies in the world. Classic good looks, stand: out performance, and ease of construction are hallmarks of this John C. Harris design. We gave the Eastport Pram deep rocker for low wetted surface and to keep the transoms from dragging. The result is a boat that is as easy and satisfying to row as you can expect on such a short waterline. Used as a tender to a larger boat, or kept at a dock, it's possible to undertake a long afternoon row around the local waters without breaking a sweat.
  • Very fast, fun and roomy boat with many upgrades including Yanmar 2GM20F. Designed by Charlie Morgan for the Midget Ocean Racing Club (MORC), Significant Other is a solidly built, offshore: capable pocket racer/cruiser with a PHRF of 168. Solid FRP hull with encapsulated lead ballast. This is the “offshore version” with the head forward, creating a spacious interior with over six feet of headroom. Sleeps up to five with convertible port settee extended. Six large opening ports provide excellent ventilation and light. Fun and responsive yet sturdy and forgiving to sail, capable of speeds over 10 knots (fully under control). Professionally maintained by top Long Island yard and loaded with gear.
  • REMARKS: This boat sails well and is a very accommodating 31 footer with an attractive interior. Its deep keel and taller mast enables it to perform significantly better than the centerboard version. The T shaped cockpit allows for easy access from the helm position. Engine access is from both interior and cockpit sole.
  • ACCOMODATIONS: RECENTLY UPDATED TEAK INTERIOR, V-berth with drawer and open storage (below). Enclosed Head with Raritan Toilet & Shower. Vanity w/ storage & S/S sink, Hanging Locker. Folding Drop: leaf Dining Table is mounted on forward bulkhead. Storage shelves on both port and starboard sides. Galley is aft to starboard with gimballed propane oven and 3 Burner stove top, S/S Sink, Icebox (5.5 Cu Ft) and storage. Pressurize fresh water system with 6 gallon hot water tank (electric water heater element). Shore power (30 Amp) with GFI protected outlets, 10 Lb Propane tank in transom locker. Full Teak interior with Nav station/Chart table. Vinyl headliner with Zipper. Teak & Holly cabin Sole. Deck Anchor Locker. Two cockpit storage lockers.
